New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Leadership

New Hope Missionary Baptist Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team.

Reverend Michael T. Reed

Senior Pastor


Pastor Reverend Reed was appointed to serve as New Hope Missionary Baptist Church's Senior Pastor January 7, 2018. Prior to that, he served as the Assistant Pastor, here at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Indianapolis, IN.

The attributes that best describe Pastor Reed as a pastor are strong preaching, teaching, and leadership development. He has a burning desire to lead our church, from the true and living word of God, Here at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church,  members are highly encourage to get involved in ministry and support the community around  us. 

Pastor Reed takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending much time focused on praying, seeking direction and counsel from God continually. 

He attended Wesleyan University with a focus on Christian Ministies.

Pastor Michael T. Reed  has been happily married for 27 years to  his wife, Tessa  Reed. Together they have three adult children: and four grandsons and a Puppy granddaughter.
